This is where we will place comments from the people who have bought a puppy or used our stud dog, Guinness. hi tracy and family,
Thought you might like a progress report on kacey with her gundog training-we joined the lincolnshire united retreiver club and did winter training with them and kev took her on a training day which they do training in the morning and an informal working test in the afternoon-they got 84 out of 120 which was pretty good we think for her first one-each test is out of 20 and she wasn,t marked on one as she went before kev told her to but she did a fantastic retreive over water to pick up a dummy on a bank and back in the water again to kev(without shaking before she took the dummy to him!)(she had never been in water before that so we were very proud of her!)
Her only vice is her steadyness-she can,t keep her bum still because she is so keen for it all but our trainer andy is working with kev and kacey on that.
best wishes
colette,kev and family
Hi Tracy
lovely to hear from you. Fenman Bomber has been to the vets and
had his first injection. Vet has two labs herself & said what
fine condition he is in & what a big boy he will be. He is full
of life & wearing me out but is sleeping about 6 hours at night
which is a lot better than I thought it would be. He has had
loads of visitors who think he's wonderful. Going to enroll him
in Puppy classes after Christmas. Hope you like the photos and
have a wonderful Christmas. Thanks once again for letting us
have him.
Just to let
you know Caffreys doing fine, 99% house trained, just a few
accidents when we don't get to the door in time. Back to the
Vets on Wednesday for his second injection & looking forward to
being able to take him out for a little trot & to show him off.
He sleeps about 6 hours at night which is good & is always
hungry! Everyone that comes round says what a big handsome chap
he will be.
All the
best
Here is
another happy puppy owner:
Hi there
Beulah is
doing very well - he did not cry in the night at all last night
- so we felt happy that he is starting to feel like this place
is home!! Amazingly, he had not had any accidents during the
night either - but I am sure it must just have been a fluke - he
is a bit young to be clean yet.
We took him to
the vet. yesterday who checked him all over and said he is a
fine dog - he also had his first vaccination then.
We wish you
all a Happy New Year and it will report further in due course!
Hope you
had a nice Xmas & a good new year, sorry it has taken me so long
to send pic's problems with computers!
these were
taken at Xmas as you can see both dogs love bubbles. Rosie is
growing fast, but is a bit of a handful, she is so bossy. Both
cats and my other dog run when they see her coming.
Hi there
Thanks for your e-mail. Sorry we have not been in touch before
but the time passes
so quickly - even though we are both retired people now!! We
have tried to e-mail
you this last week, but we seem to be having some problems with
the computer at the
moment - we had hoped to e-mail the photos to you as well, but
have not been
successful.
Beulah is doing well - we are very pleased with him. He has had
the odd tummy
upset just as our previous puppies did - he is gradually
learning that you cannot eat
anything and everything though!! We weighed him last Monday when
we went to
get his worming pills - he is 24.5 kg. We are still feeding him
on Purina Pro Plan at
the moment. He has a lovely set of teeth - he seems to have all
of his second set
now. He loves all people and all dogs.
Hope these photos give you an idea what he is like, but if you
want to ask us anything
about him, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Hopefully,
the next photos we
send will be via e-mail.
Hope everything is O.K. with you.
